This module will look at the clear definitions of vicarious liability and non-delegable duty. Case examples will be shared of recent court cases and how the judge found in the favour of the claimant/defendant. Learning from these examples, delegates will be able to implement measures to minimise the risks of such claims arising.

The aim is to provide delegates with a good understanding of how vicarious liability and non-delegable duty has impacted on our profession. They will be made aware of steps they can easily take to mitigate risk, minimise reputational damage and protect their interests should they own a limited company.
