Part one of this premium course on medicolegal considerations in practice will cover the registrant's journey through a fitness to practise hearing and the GDC process.

The aim of this module is to help colleagues understand how the GDC operates but more importantly highlight what is expected of a registrant should they become a subject of a fitness to practise investigation.

Delegates will gain an understanding of the statutory functions of the General Dental Council, its standards and the process a registrant has to go through during a fitness to practise hearing, along with the remediation that would be expected to demonstrate insight and mitigation.
