Alison Large will review the legal, ethical and contractual duty of confidentiality. As well as the key principles of data protection and how to understand appropriately managing requests for disclosure.
Aims and objectives
By the end of the session delegates should:
- Get an understanding of your professional, contractual and legal responsibility to protect patient confidentiality
- Have a general awareness of the general data protection regulations (GDPR) and principles of the UK Data Protection Act of 2018.
